![]() ![]() I'm on Windows 10, but I've tried running AC4 as an administrator and in Windows 7 compatibility mode to no avail. Unfortunately, the game doesn't want to run: after installing the SweetFX files to the AC4 directory I get the following error: " The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll" Now I've checked System32, and I do have the d3d11 DLL file installed there. There's a few more at but the problem is those are all SweetFX 1.5 so they won't work with Radeonpro at the moment. So I decided to reinstall Assassin's Creed 4, and figured it'd be nice to use SweetFX to pump up the game's graphics a little. I don't know, maybe I can try some other presets. It's not a dramatic effect all like ENB on Skyrim, more like just a little sharper and contrasty. I have to say though I am kind of eh about the look and probably prefer the game without it. (ignore the part about Ragnarok Online 2/RAG2/RO2 Client etc you want AC4BFSP.exe and then maybe add the Steam and UPlay client exes as aliases)Īnyhow it was a little bit of a pain to setup but I have it working now. Then followed the process here: (Note that Radeonpro will work with Nvidia cards, at least the part the gets SweetFX to work anyhow) (follow the link the says "Those interested can download our SweetFX mod from here.") Also RadeonPro (which you need to get SweetFX to run under Win 8.1 currently) has issues with SweetFX 1.5 so you have to use 1.4. Not sure what version of Windows or SweetFX you are running, but apparently there's issues with SweetFX and the version of DirectX with Windows 8.1. Tl DR - it can be made to work if you jump through enough hoops but the effect for me is meh.
